The 10th anniversary was held Friday in Bali to remember those who lost their lives during the twin bombing attacks. The memorial called for world peace and a need to end the violence against civilians. Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard said the date on which the bombing attacks occurred in 2002 is unforgettable as it had claimed 202 innocent people’s lives, among which 88 were Australians. The ceremony was featured with candle lighting by the 22 people that survived, and the members of the victims’ families, representing 22 countries whose citizens were victims of the blast.
