A media preview on Tuesday offered an amazing look at NYC from 100 floors up: The observatory of One World Trade Center will be built on levels 100, 101, 102 giving visitors’ fantastic views of Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey.
Now it’s a mere shadow of what it will look like upon completion in 2015, But Bill Baroni from the Port Authority of New York insisted that the view will be available for everyone to enjoy:
"This site, this place is for everybody. And whether you are coming here by train to go to work or you’re coming here to the Memorial Museum, or now you are coming to stand in the place with the greatest view anywhere in the world. This place is back."
When complete, One World Trade Center will stand 1776 feet tall, making it the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.
