Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE: AMD) reported fiscal third-quarter adjusted earnings of 4 cents a share on revenue of $1.46 billion, compared with a net loss of 9 cents a share on revenue of $1.11 billion in the year ago period. Analysts had expected a profit of 2 cents a share on revenue of $1.42 billion.
Shares fell 7.09 percent to $3.80 in after-hours trading.
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) missed expectations and reported earnings of $2.66 a share, while revenue beat estimates coming in at $827 million. Wall Street had expected the restaurant to post EPS of $2.78 on revenue of $820.3 million.
Shares jumped 7.98 percent to $474.10 in extended-hours trading.
Also after the closing bell, Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) and Capital One Financial Corp. (NYSE: COF) reported third-quarter earnings results.
