From The USA Carlin Isles had what it took to be an Olympic runner, running at 10.3 seconds in 100 meters: But this runner chose another avenue, Rugby! He said he wanted to be the best, and his speed could very well make him the fastest rugby player in the world:
"I thought maybe I could be like the fastest rugby player in the world and one of the greatest and that was just like my whole mindset and picture,"
Isles only took to rugby less than a year ago but spent his youth playing American football. His debut was for the U.S rugby team in the Gold Coast Sevens in Australia last October. He scored within a minute of coming on as a substitute against New Zealand.
Now his focus is training for the World Series Rugby Sevens in New Zealand this weekend.
