Tech giant Apple has rolled out a series of updates to fix issues plaguing the newly released iPhone 14 series. Despite this, the problems seemed incessant since, after patching previous issues, a new set of bugs popped up.

Apple immediately rolled out the iOS 16.0.2 update a few days ago, with the changelog specifically indicating that it fixed several iPhone 14 issues users encountered at launch. "This update provides bug fixes and important security updates for your iPhone," Apple said.

According to the company, the latest update fixed the issue where the "Camera may vibrate and cause blurry photos when shooting with some third-party apps on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, display may appear completely black during device setup, copy and paste between apps may cause a permission prompt to appear more than expected and VoiceOver may be unavailable after rebooting."

Apple also mentioned that iOS 16.0.2 addresses the issue "where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 displays after being serviced." While the company's respond to these concerns was swift and immediate, it also confirmed two major issues iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 pro users were complaining about.

One of these is the issue with CarPlay, where iPhone 14 owners experienced extremely poor phone call and volume levels quality. Complaints about this issue are widespread on various social media platforms.

"People are saying when I call them using CarPlay, the volume is super low. This is with the iPhone 14 Pro Max," A Twitter user who goes by theCHAZZchannel shared. "Having issues with iPhone 14 pro and max with carplay when plugged in making calls the person receiving the call on speakerphone notices volume dropping is anyone else having this issue or is this an ios16 bug," Twitter user who goes by the handle Chad Reiss said.

"An issue with the new iPhone 14 if you commute. I bought the iPhone 14 Pro yesterday and when connected to CarPlay, the person can't hear me. When I hit the speaker button, they say its fine. How do we fix this since I make a billion calls while driving every day," a Twitter user who goes by the handle Dr. Matt Romain, DPT shared.

Apple is aware of the issue since its Apple Support Twitter handle acknowledged it when tagged on the social media. "Thanks for tagging us about this. We'd like to look into what is happening with your iPhone 14 Pro and CarPlay," the account said.

Another issue is data migration to iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The company confirmed that iPhone 14 Pro models may freeze when users transfer their data from an older iPhone, based on the internal memo Macrumors saw.

The issue is observed when using an iCloud restore or when doing a data transfer during the Quick Start process. Apple suggests that users force restart their iPhones if it becomes unresponsive during the process.
