Winter storm Janus continued to move into Wednesday through the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast parts of the US dumping snow and freezing conditions. Janus is the tenth named storm of the season, creating a multitude of travel disruptions around the nation.
The roads have become a threat to motorists as in some areas the visibility is poor, mixed in with the fact that the roads are icy and slippery. Storm warnings have been issued in heavily populated areas as the mixture of snow and wind is creating a dangerous situation for commuters.
More than 3,000 flights have been cancelled in the US, and it seems the miserable effects of the Polar Vortex continue to freeze many parts of the nation, making life difficult for millions of people.
