Usain Bolt led three Jamaicans into the final of the men’s 200 meters on Friday as the world record holder seeks a third successive world title at his favorite distance.

"For me it's always good to prove that I'm still a champion, I still can do it back-to-back. So for me, I'm looking forward to just going there and executing, that's the key thing right now. These guys are working hard, it's going to be a good run tomorrow. But I'm just looking forward to go there and do my best."

Hoping to crash the Jamaican party however is 19 year old Adam Gemili from Briton who ran a time of 19.98 making it the second fastest time ran by a Briton.

"I'm over the moon to have run that time. I crossed the line, I didn't even expect it, I didn't even know it was me until my name came up on the screen. I was shocked and speechless, I didn't know if it wasn't... I knew I was in good shape coming into this. To go out there and run (indistinct) today, it's amazing. I put myself in a mix for tomorrow as well, so.."
