This may come as a surprise, but A-list celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have gone into the wine business, and the first batch, marked at 15 euros a bottle, has undergone its first taste test.
The wine critic deemed their first foray into wine making a success.
"This one is very fresh, very fruity, very exuberant on the aroma side, but also round, supple and fresh and energetic so for my standard of tasting wine, it was a very good wine. I gave it a 91 point out of a one hundred scale so it's a top rating for a Rose wine."
The couple released a vintage pink rose from their 1,000 acre French estate in the U.S. on March 15th.
They bought the 17th century Chateau back in 2008 for 60 million dollars.
Telling Reuters in the champagne bar at the Sofitel Hotel in London, he explained: "It was also a good vineyard for years and maybe for more than one century and the reputation of the wine was good so it was possible to do a good wine, to do a better wine than before because the owners before weren't very focussed on wine producing."
The power couple plan to release more than just the Rose, adding two white wines and two red wines to the list.
The wine is expected to be a hit after all 6,000 bottles sold out in just 5 hours.
