Chaos Erupts in Greece over Austerity Bill

Buildings had been set ablaze in response to the unpopular austerity bill which proclaims, pay and pension cuts as well as job cuts. The bill was the price of a 130 billion Euro bailout to save Greece from a chaotic default next month.The program includes a 22% cut in minimum wage- many are critizing that this move will only worsen Greece's woes. The violence that erupted Sunday night involved rebels looting 150 shops, and setting 48 buildings ablaze. 100 people were wounded and 130 were detained.Many Greeks believe their standards of living are collapsing already and the new measures will only deepen their suffering. The austerity cuts will be tough, but will they be enough to save Greece?
