The Port Authority and the World Trade Center

An audit released this week called the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey a challenged and dysfunctional organization, citing the ballooning costs at New York's World Trade Center. Obama Administration Acts to Bolster Homeowner Lifeline

The U.S. administration on Friday expanded its main foreclosure-prevention program and pushed to open it to those with loans backed by mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, a move that could meet resistance from their regulator, the Federal Housing Finance Agency.
