Couples Lock Lips To Break Kissing World Record

Thai couples locked lips on Tuesday (February 12) to break the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous kiss ahead of Valentine's Day. The third year of the world longest continuous kiss competition kicked off in Pattaya, with nine couples taking part in the contest aiming to continue kissing until Valentine's Day and to break the previous record of 50 hours 25 minutes and 1 second. The rule is to lock their lips together at all times in the area provided 3.2 square feet. They can only drink water through a straw. The referee will also accompany them to toilet which has been especially made for the contest. If their lips part, they'll be disqualified. The contestants need to be legally married or proved to be living together for more than one year. The winner will take home cash and diamond rings worth 200,000 Baht. (6,451USD)
