International soccer star David Beckham continued the Beijing leg of his China tour with a visit to the state television headquarters and a primary school, state media reported.
According CCTV, Beckham arrived at their headquarters on Thursday (March 21) where he met CCTV deputy editor-in-chief Li Ting.
During an interview, shot by CCTV, Beckham talked about his ambassadorship for the Chinese football league.

That's an amazing thing. Everybody has always been so welcoming, unbelievably well every time I've come here, so I'm excited about spending more time here," he said.
Beckham, who is also an ambassador for UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund), commented about his passion for charity.
"I always want be involved in football. That's something that would always happen, but outside of football, the things I'm passionate about is charity, working with children, and representing my country in the right way," he said.
