A major dengue fever outbreak in Peru has affected thousands since October as it continues to spread across the country, reaching 17 regions.
The hospital was flooded with patients of the mosquito-born disease which is also called "break bone fever" because of the sever pain it can cause.
According to official data more than 6,000 people have been affected so far by dengue this year.
Dengue is a viral infection that can cause a range of symptoms, from mild flu-like illness to more serious illnesses including rashes and borne pain.
Severe and potentially deadly forms develop in about five percent of patients.
