An investigation has begun in the Netherlands after a 15-year-old girl apparently committed suicide after being bullied at school.
Fleur Bloemen jumped in front of a train before the start of class on Tuesday (December 11), as several members of her class watched on helplessly.
Students said she had been bullied at her school. It is alleged the young teen left a suicide note naming her tormentors.
School authorities said they are in shock but cooperating with authorities. But this tragedy unfortunately is not an isolated incident.
Tim Ribberink, a 20-year-old man from Amsterdam, took his life last month after alleged bullying.
His parents posted what they said was his suicide note on the Internet in the hope of highlighting the bullying their son suffered.
