Wall Street dropped on Wednesday as the Dow fell more than 100 points as traders feared central banks could start scaling back stimulus programs.
Traders worry that the Federal Reserve will reduce its quantitative easing in coming months that economists attribute to the U.S. stock market's rally this year.
The Dow Jones industrial average sank 126.79 points or 0.84 percent, to close at 14,995.23. The S&P 500 dropped 13.61 points or 0.84 percent, to 1,612.52. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 36.52 points or 1.06 percent, to end at 3,400.43.
