Italian fashion brand Etro created a fantasy world of digital prints and futuristic shapes for her Milan autumn-winter 2013-14 women swear show on Friday (February 22).
Designer Veronica Etro was inspired by ethnic, Renaissance and Russian motifs for her powerful woman who travels the world and mixes cultures.
Prints - for which the fashion house is famous - were reinvented to include layers of pixels and starry constellations in shiny sequins and contrasting colors.
Some models wore short jackets in thick cloth over knitwear, paired with silk skirts for a sporty silhouette.
The designer created new volumes for shirts, with important shoulders sculpting a sophisticated woman who wants to impress.
On the optical catwalk, models were like beautiful creatures coming out of a sci-fi movie.
Etro's outerwear featured large volumes, a trend next winter, with some coats without sleeves to accentuate the idea of free style.
Geometric cuts on dresses unveiled the skin.
