Valentine’s Day in the Philippines brought out over 300 couples to take part in a government sponsored mass wedding on Thursday (February 14).
The free annual event is held on the special holiday to help underprivileged twosomes get married.
Middle class families have trouble paying for the traditional Filipino wedding, which can cost upwards of $700 U.S. dollars.
The couples were excited to take part in the huge ceremony.
According to government housing firm PAG IBIG Fund, nearly 4,000 couples took part in mass weddings all over the Philippines.
