The first official portrait of the Duchess of Cambridge, was unveiled on Friday (January 11). Britain’s Prince William and his wife more commonly known as Kate arrived at the National Portrait Gallery to view their first official portrait.
The painting was commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery and, following the Duchess' suggestion, depicts her natural, not official, persona.
The Duchess, who wore a burgundy dress by Whistles, was joined by her husband the Duke for a private viewing of the painting before it goes on display to the public later on Friday.
