Five Dead As Landslide Buries School In China

Five primary school students were confirmed dead after a landslide buried a school and two residential homes in China’s southwest Yunnan province on Thursday morning. Eighteen school children were in the building when the landslide occurred at around 0800 local time. Rescuers working to reach the victims have recovered the bodies of five students in the rubble. Elsewhere a family of three managed to flee their home before it was hit by the devastating landslide. However one adult was buried.
