There are a few things about your childhood you will never forget and one of those things is Lego. Child-hood nostalgia is making serious money as “The Lego Movie” is making serious bank, raking in $69.1 million in ticket sales this weekend.
The film is animated, and is based on those colorful block sand building toys you are all familiar with. The film is suitable for young and old and has already received a lot of praise from film critics.
It also has an all-star cast for the voices including; Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman. The star studded animation even beat out George Clooney’s Monument’s Men which earned $22.7 million over the weekend, making it good enough for second place.
