Popular Mexican singer Julieta Venegas wowed fans on Monday (December 3) during a special concert in Havana, Cuba.
While Monday's show wasn't the first time the multiple Latin Grammy winner performed in the Caribbean country, her music has gained wider recognition on the island over the past few years.
The highly anticipated performance, was given as part of the U.N. "Unite" campaign to eliminate violence against women and girls around the world.
In 2009, Venegas was named UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in Mexico, after serving as a long-time advocate for the rights of women and children.
On Thursday (December 6) the Latin pop superstar will wrap up the year with a free concert in Ecuador.
