Fashion brand Gucci kicked off the Milan Autumn/Winter 2013/14 womenswear week with an array of sculpted dresses in 3D motifs on Wednesday (February 20).
Salma Hayek attended the show alongside her husband, the CEO of luxury brands holding company PPR, and his step-daughter.
Gucci's designer Frida Giannini created a new sexy silhouette for her femme fatale who loves to surprise.
The designer created short jackets narrow at the waist with rounded shoulders for a glamorous, modern woman.
Coats came in rust or blue to give an eccentric touch to the sophisticated collection.
Other models wore coats with geometric cuts to emphasize shoulders and waist.
Skirt hems were long below the knee for a slender silhouette.
Materials came in precious skins, like python and crocodile, to celebrate Gucci's luxury taste.
For the evening, models wore dresses with colored feathers beautifully stitched on sheer lace.
Shoes included booties and sandals with sharp thin heels to add a fetish touch to the aggressive looks.
Giannini, who is going to have her baby in a couple of weeks, saluted the audience at the end of the show, wearing a large black silk shirt to cover her visible bump.
