It is the second day that a search team has been in the Northwest area of the Nevada Mountains searching for a family of six that went missing on Sunday. Their family reported them missing Sunday evening when James Glanton, girlfriend Christina McIntree took their two children, aged 3 and 4 for an outing in the snow with their cousins aged 10 and 4.
The family made the call to authorities after they had not heard from their family who went to the mountain range 20 miles from the family’s home. They entered the snowy mountain range in the freezing cold conditions and have not been seen or heard from since.
Pershing County Sheriff Richard Machado was however hopeful of the families return, despite the overwhelming concerns from their families:
"I'm optimistic that if they have fuel in their vehicle and they can stay warm - and they left with a full tank of gas. I'm optimistic, and I'm gonna remain optimistic until somebody shows me different,"
