The School of Fashion has premiered the collections of recent graduates during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week since 2005.

The goal is to help launch their careers and get their collections seen by as many industry professionals as possible.

Throughout the years, collections have included women's, men's, and children's wear, along with technical, textile, knitwear, and accessory design.

The Fall 2012 show focused on eight women's wear collections and one men's wear collection.

Wu Di told me she was a healthy combination of excited and nervous before her collection hit the runway.

Born and raised in China, Di earned a BA in Fashion Design, then came to the Academy of Art University to pursue and M.F.A in Fashion Design.

Her collection featured angular silhouettes and geometric patterns, using cashmere knits and double-face wool.

She likes working with cashmere because its soft nature makes women feel beautiful and comfortable.

Amy Bond's collection was inspired by complex shapes and construction, but strove to make the complexities appear clean and minimal.

Bond used to work in color, but as the seam work got more complicated, she moved into black, whites, and greys.

Jeanette Au's knit collection had the crowd on their feet.

Her intricate knit pieces came in a gradation of colors including sapphire, silver, copper, brown, and ruby.
