It’s been two years in the making and the Annual New York Greenwich Village Parade was brought back to life in a thrilling display of costumes, floats and creativity. Last year Super Storm Sandy cancelled the parade, due to widespread outages.
Crowd goes were thrilled that this year the famous parade came back bigger and better than ever. The spirits were high the costumes were elaborate as the thousands of participants and parade-goers enjoyed the creepy festivities.
The parade is in its 40th year and it was expected that over 2 million people would be there to witness it. The Greenwich Village Halloween Parade is the largest public Halloween celebration in the nation and the country’s only nighttime parade.
