Prisoners Go “Gangnam Style” For Dance Competition

Seventy inmates in a Bangkok prison took part in a "Gangnam Style" dance competition on Tuesday (November 27). The prisoners, who are doing time for crimes ranging from robbery to drugs smuggling, dressed up in wigs and makeup before dancing to the K-pop hit. Prison authorities said the competition started in October through which dancers were whittled down to the final 70 on Tuesday. At the end of the competition, the team with the most synchronized dance moves was given a trophy along with food and clothes. The "Gangnam Style" singer is set to arrive in Thailand for a concert on November 28. The hit has become the most-watched music video ever posted on YouTube with more than 800 million views from around the world.
