In conjunction with NASA a privately owned rocket blasted off to the International Space Station on Sunday as a test flight from a new commercial spaceport in Virginia. The rocket was developed and flown by Orbital Sciences Corporation. The corporation holds contracts with NASA worth a combined $3.5 billion to fly cargo to the space station.
The rocket set for space is 13 stories, and blasted off at 5pm as the debut test flight from the new commercial space in Virginia.
