Sony officially launched the PlayStation Vita today, with new additions to the device's digital download platform, the PS store.

Users can now download Netflix, Flickr, and LiveTweet apps for free, along with several new games, like Plants Vs. Zombies and Touch my Katamari.

Some argue the new PS Vita revolutionizes the gaming experience, with dual analog sticks, front and rear multi touch pads, motions sensors, and front and rear cameras.

Microsoft has asked EU antitrust regulators to intervene in a patent dispute with Google and Motorola Mobility as it stepped up its battle against the Internet search giant.

Microsoft complained that Motorola Mobility was trying to block its products by charging too much for using its patents in Microsoft products.

The complaint came a week after the European Commission -- the EU's executive arm -- and the U.S. Justice Department approved Google's $12.5 billion acquisition of Motorola Mobility.

And, last but not least, according to the online launch teaser for the next official game in the Angry Birds series, "It's one small fling for a bird, one quantum leap for birdkind."

In a new game titled "Angry Birds Space," the furious flying birds are set to land on the moon and beyond.

According to Yahoo Games, the game will feature new planets and users will have to compete with zero gravity while experiencing new gameplay elements like slow-motion puzzles and "lightspeed" destruction.

You can get the game on your mobile device starting March 22.
