The Royals flocked to Baker Street London to celebrate The Tube’s 150th Anniversary: The Queen was with her husband, The Duke of Edinburgh, and her daughter in law, The Duchess of Cambridge and wife of Prince William, Kate. This is the first public outing from the Queen who recently cancelled a number of engagements due to her recent illness.
The Royal outing marked the significance of London’s famed underground system, and its successful system of transportation that has worked for the city and its people for 150 years. After the tour of the tube station the queen unveiled a plaque before receiving her Oyster Card- Which is a public transport travel card. Princess Kate was given a ‘Baby on Board’ badge.
