The 'largest Hollywood auction ever' is kicking off with over 5,000 photos and various Hollywood artifacts. Guernsey's Auction House in New York will sell the first series of the Movie Star News collection as a way to provide pictures of movie stars to fans. Irving Klaw founded Movie Star News in 1938, and over 50 years he accumulated millions of photos and negatives from movie studios and now that collection is up for grabs. Later Klaw became known for creating the pin-up girl, and the most popular figure was Bettie Page, who was often referred to as the "Queen of Pinups." 600 lots will come from his work with Page, in addition to the 1,300 items from the Movie Star News. The auction will take place on April 6th and 7th in New York and fans will have a chance to bid in person and on online. (Video Source: REUTERS)
