Rush Hour Tragedy As Trains Collide In Chicago, 33 Injured

Two trains collided on Monday causing injuries to 33 commuters just west of Chicago at 7:45am. The head on collision happened at Harlem Station in Forest Park, the reason for the accident is currently being investigated.

Initial findings however indicate that the collision was a mechanical malfunction as no foul play or criminal activity was to blame.

33 people were injured and transported to 9 different hospitals in the area, though luckily none of the injuries appear to be serious or life threatening. Service in the area was temporarily shut down following the tragic collision.
