A landslide at a quarry in Canada has swallowed three vehicles. The search is now underway for two workers who went missing on Wednesday. The quarry swept two trucks into a gravel pit. One truck was completely buried in gravel while one was left partially covered.
Two people remain missing while the third worker was rescued. CBS news reported that the man was airlifted out of the pit by a helicopter and was not seriously injured. Rescuers have yet to make contact with the two people that remain missing.
Rescuers now plan to bring in heavy equipment and search dogs in their rescue efforts Wednesday morning. Teams will continue to sift through the gravel with their shovels, and thermal cameras to find the two missing workers.
