Spice-mania descended on London's Piccadilly Theatre when all five original members of The Spice Girls witnessed on Tuesday (December 11) the launch the musical 'Viva Forever' which is based on their songs. Geri Halliwell, Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham showed solidarity with the cast at the curtain call, taking a standard ovation from a charged crowd. The girls thanked the cast and each other before dancing off the stage with the cast. After the event, there were celebrations at a marquee in the Victoria Embankment Gardens, where four of the Spices turned up to celebrate, Victoria Beckham was an absentee. The four had also arrived at the theatre before opening without Victoria, who attended separately with her husband David and boys Romeo, Brooklyn, and Cruz. "Oh my god, the cast was amazing and our families loved it,” "It does and then the songs do and the energy is brilliant," she said. "Amazing." 'Viva Forever' isn't based on the story of The Spice Girls, but is in fact a story put together by Absolutely Fabulous' Jennifer Saunders who created a narrative between their hit songs.
