On Sunday however New York reached a deal with the National Park Service despite the shutdown. There have been 401 National Park Service attractions including Mount Rushmore that have been shut across the country due to the shutdown, which was caused by the White House failing to reach an agreement on how they were going to raise the national debt limit.
