Colombian police captured the alleged leader of a notorious criminal gang in the northern region of Antioquia on Tuesday (September 25).
German Bustos Alarcon, known as 'The Puma', is suspected of being one of the most dangerous gang leaders in Colombia.
At the time of his arrest, 'The Puma' also known as 'cop killer', was found carrying a semi-automatic weapon, a gun commonly used by Mexican drug cartels for its ability to penetrate bulletproof vests worn by police officers.
In addition to the charges he faces in Colombia, the United States also has an extradition warrant for Bustos Alarcon for crimes related to drug trafficking.
