Syria's minister of information said that "terrorists", not the state, were responsible for a countrywide Internet outage on Thursday (November 29), a pro-government TV station said.
A pro-government TV station quoted the telecommunications minister as saying that engineers were working to repair what he said was a fault in the main communications and Internet cable.
Syrian TV also ran a statement attributed to the information minister that blamed 'terrorists' for attacks on cars en route to the Damascus airport.
