Three Taiwanese tourists and a local guide were killed in Indonesia’s West Java province on Monday, after the bus carrying them overturned on a mountain slope. Several others were injured in the accident which occurred around noon.
Of the survivors, none of the injured is in danger of dying. Police said preliminary investigations suggest the driver experienced problems with the brakes and lost control of the vehicle on a sharp turn. The bus rolled down the road, crashed into a motorcycle, veered left and rolled down the slope.
The injured were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
