A Taiwan division of the U.S Polytron Technologies Company has claimed to have created a fully transparent cell phone: The project, six years in development has resulted in a cell phone made of conductive glass. According to the team it does all the same things as a smart phone. The company has begun to receive orders for the new phone and they will be producing them within the year. The one component of the phone that can’t be transparent is the battery. But how does the new phone compare to the popular iPhone 5? It is 25% lighter with a 4.3 inch screen, which is 0.3 inch larger than the iPhone 5. It has been said the new cell phone will be introduced to the market place by the years end. The price has not been confirmed but the company has assured it will be cheaper than the iPhone 5. Video Courtesy OF Reuters
