Wall Street was little changed Wednesday as investors analyzed minutes from the Federal Reserve’s last meeting for signs on when the central bank might slow the pace of bond purchases.
According to minutes of the Fed's June 19-20 meeting released Wednesday, about half of Fed officials were in favor of ending the central banks stimulus program later this year, which is at least six months earlier than the likely timetable outlined by Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke last month.
Bernanke will speak will speak after the bell Wednesday from the National Bureau of Economic Research conference.
