Wall Street turned lower on Monday after economic data showed manufacturing activity fell in March while spending on construction rose in February.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 2.18 points at 14,580.72. The S&P 500 index declined 3.46 points to 1,565.73. The Nasdaq Composite lost 9.6 points to 3,257.91.
