An Oregon woman was freed on Wednesday (January 16) after spending more than four hours trapped between two buildings.
Firefighters were able to rescue Anita Mann from the eight to ten spaces between the two walls.
It is unclear how the 30 year-old woman fell into the tight space between the two walls. A passerby heard her screams and called for help.
Firefighters cut two holes in the cement wall of a parking garage and used a soap-like substance to free the woman.
Firefighter Rich Chapman said Mann helped wiggle herself free from the walls.
"That last couple feet, she had that look of determination and I think we were all pretty convinced no matter what, she was coming out that way,"
Mann was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
